BILLIE LEE TROEGER
Billie Lee Troeger, 72 of Utica, Missouri, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at her home under the care of her family and Fredrick Medical Center Hospice Service.
She was born Aug. 15, 1934 in Missouri City, Missouri, the daughter of Bud and Mabel Anna Marie (Banning) Williams.
Billie was raised in Brookfield, Missouri, and attended Brookfield schools.
On May 27, 1950, she married John Russell Troeger, Jr. in Brookfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1995. The couple moved to Utica, Missouri, and resided there for 45 years.
Billie was a member of the Mt. Olive Methodist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri. She enjoyed working with ceramics and doing yard work.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Rees and husband, Doug of Utica, Missouri, and Linda L. Banner of Independence, Missouri; two granddaughters, Tatum Anderson of Utica, Missouri, and Angela Banner of Columbia, Missouri; a brother, Edgar Williams and wife, Frances of Brookfield, Missouri; a sister, Carolyn S. Moore and husband, Dean of Brookfield, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Gene Hiland, Jack Hiland, Edward Hiland, and Jerry Tate Williams; and a sister, Daphney Troeger.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007 at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Chillicothe, Missouri. Arrangements are under direction of Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri.
