Mrs. Bessie May Crum died suddenly Sunday evening at her home in Wilbur. She was survived by her husband, Frank J. Crum, at the home; four sons, James Frank, Pasco, WA; Elroy C., Sprague, WA; Norman F., Lewiston, ID; and Floyd F., Poulsbo, WA. She was also survived by six sisters, Mrs. Eva Carpenter and Mrs. Gertie Morrison, both in Kansas; Mrs. Sarah Hilton, in Missouri; and Mrs. Helen Marshall and Mrs. Ruth Velentine, in Texas; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Crum was a member of Wilbur Christian Church, Lotus Rebekah Lodge, the Community Club, and the Friday Club. For years she was active in the work of The American Legion Auxiliary.
