Brian Michael Vock was born September 9 1991 in Nebraska City the son of John and Jane (Damme) Vock. Brian lived in the Nebraska City area his entire life. He attended Nebraska City Public Schools where he just completed his sophomore year. He was very active in athletics, especially football and baseball. Brian was a member of the Bethel United Church of Christ and the Varsity Club. He loved spending time with his friends and family, and he was known for his dry sense of humor. Survivors include his parents, John and Jane Vock; brothers, Tyler and Dylan Vock; Grandmother, Adelene Vock, all of Nebraska City; Grandparents, Duane and Donna Damme of Talmage; great Grandmother, Laurene Bando of Nebraska City; uncles and aunts, Todd and Linda Taylor of Nickerson; Michael and Jodi Damme of Talmage; five cousin; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Sterling Vock, great Grandfather, Johnny Bando, great Grandparents, Alfred and Martha Damme, uncle, Stuart Damme. Brian died May 25, 2008 near Percival, Iowa at the age of 16.
