Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 16, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., with the Rev. Ron Stein officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel.
Betty L. Wolff was born on April 7, 1932, in Mason City, the daughter of Daniel and Marguerite (Campbell) Beisel. She attended Mason City schools and graduated with the class of 1950.
On June 26, 1949, Betty was united in marriage to Robert Wolff at the First Baptist Church in Mason City. Betty and Robert were married for 57 years until Bobs passing in September 2006.
Bob and Betty lived in Mason City for a few years following their marriage, later moving to Braidwood, Ill., where they resided for 38 years. While they were living in Braidwood, Betty worked for the Rock Island Arsenal and then worked for the Illinois State Police, where she was employed for many years before retiring in the mid-nineties. Bob and Betty then moved back to Mason City.
Betty was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed playing cards, socializing and cooking.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mason City.
Left to cherish her memory is a niece, Betty (Terry) Williams, of Mason City; as well as other relatives and friends.
Her parents, husband Robert; and brother, Bobby, preceded her in death.
