Haley Rose Minchella, our sweet little angel, age 2, of Maumee, went home to God's loving embrace on Sunday, August 15, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer for 9 months. Haley was born June 28, 2002, in Oregon, OH, to Patrick and Amber (Lutz) Minchella. She was a loving little girl who lit up the room with her charm and warmth, and touched thousands of lives through her website, www.caringbridge.org/oh/hopeforhaley
She is survived by her loving parents; brothers, Segar Minchella, and Adison Minchella; sister, Kealy Minchella; grandparents, Gordon and Deb Morris, Mark and Anita Lutz, and Marcella Minchella; great-grandparents, Franklin and Judy Lutz and Chester and Delores Niblock, and great-great-grandmother, Mable Bratton. Also surviving are her aunts and uncles, Mike Minchella, Corey and Tina Lutz, Spence and Peggy Lutz, Jordan Morris, Julie and Rodney McIntyre, and many cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will take place at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Cedar Creek Church, 29129 Lime City Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551. Interment will be in Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Haley's name are asked to consider the Hope for Haley Fund c/o any Fifth Third Bank, which will be used to create a memorial in Haley's memory at Cedar Creek Church.
