Born November 29, 1875 in Summerfield, Ill., Mr. Lehmann came to Kansas in 1879 with his late parents, David and Barbara Lehmann.
He retired and moved from the farm to Halstead in 1942.
He and Mrs. Lehmann, the former Franc E. Burgert, were married October 8, 1903 in Newton.
Mr. Lehmann was an active worker in the Presbyterian church and served as a member of the board of trustees for many years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by daughter, Lois, a teacher in the Halstead schools; one son Walter of Halstead; four brothers , John M. and Daniel H. of Halstead; Marcus J. of Goble, Ore., and Ralph V. of Wellington.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Kaufman funeral home.
