Mack's Mother, Father, Grandparents: Alexander Grant and Ella Fitz Grant, and all three sisters are buried at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
Mack attended Fairfax Jr. High school and Fairfax High school in Los Angeles. He played football and was a tackle. He was also on the track team and was a hammer thrower. He graduated from Fairfax High School in 1938.
Mack married Lorraine J. Peppinger on January 1, 1941 in Los Vegas, Nevada. They had 3 daughters: Carole, the oldest, Candice and Cherylee.
Mack lived in several places: I know that he and the family lived in Oklahoma, Nevada, and California. I know that he had several careers. The last one that I am familiar with was his restaurant. It was called the Hut and was located in South Lake Tahoe in California. My sister, Mary Lynd, worked there one summer when she was in high school.
My mother, Janet Grant, his sister, adored Mack. She wanted to see him so much. They rarely visited. My Mother died in 1966 and Mack came down to visit her shortly before she died. This made her extremely happy. I have attached a photograph of the visit.
Mack died on July 11, 1995 in Nevada. He is buried in Eastside Memorial Park, Minden, Douglas County, Nevada.
This biography was written by Grant A. Lynd, son of Mack's Sister Janet Grant.
