Rosemary Kay Englert, 33, 2913 Indian Trail, died Saturday, May 25, 2002, at her home. She was born Oct. 12, 1968, in El Dorado to Joseph G. and Patricia (Darcey) Englert.

She was a 1987 graduate of Hays High School and attended Cowley County Community College.

She married Danny Pfeifer on Jan. 27, 1990 in Victoria, and later divorced.

She was a homemaker and member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Hays. She was a longtime resident of Hays.

Survivors include a son, Ryan Joseph Pfeifer, of the home; three daughters, Abby Rose Pfeifer, Anna Elizabeth Pfeifer and Isabelle Hope Pfeifer, of the home; her parents, Hays; a brother, Dan, Hays; two sisters, Darcy Mendenhall, Platte City, Mo., and Theresa Corbeille, Chicago; and her grandmother, Dorothy Darcey, Wichita.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Rose Pfeifer, and her grandparents, Ignatius and Esther (Meyer) Englert, and John Darcey.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church with Father Bill Surmeier officiating; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. A Daughters of Isabella rosary is at 6:30 p.m. followed by a vigil at 7 p.m. today, both at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the children's education.
