Mrs. Rigby, resident here 58 years, dies

Mrs. Lillian P. Rigby, a 58-year resident of Redlands, died here yesterday at the age of 86.
Mrs. Rigby was the widow of the late Jackson Rigby, a leading Redlands businessman
during his lifetime and partner in the Realty Company of Redlands.
Her brother was the late E. D. Patterson Sr. of Redlands and two of her sisters were the late Mrs. Belle Woodside of Redlands and the late actress, Miss Mary Elizabeth Patterson.
Mrs. Rigby, who lived at 175 North Bellevue road, was born in Savannah, Term. She was particularly active in Trinity Episcopal church in Redlands and was a member of its St.
Catherine Guild. During both World Wars she assisted in the work of the American Red Cross locally.

She leaves two daughers, Mrs. Eleanor R. Patrick of Mentone and Mrs. Lillian R. Dean of Huntington Beach; five
grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Horace Cecil of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hillside Memorial Park with Rev. Philip H. Robb, assistant
pastor of Trinity Episcopal church, officiating. F. Arthur Cortner chapel is in charge of arrangements.,
