WILSON -- Graveside services for Clara Faye Dunn, 91, will be at noon Thursday, May 19, 2005 at Hewitt Cemetery, Wilson, with the Rev. Wayne Fite and the Rev. Jeff Thompson officiating.
Born Nov. 13, 1913, in Oswalt, Okla. to Ed and Lilian Maude Banks Dunn, she died May 17, 2005, at a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; niece and nephew. Ms. Dunn had been a resident of Ardmore since 1975, moving here from New Orleans, La. She was a member of Southwest Baptist Church, a Sunday school teacher and worked as a Southern Baptist missionary. She enjoyed gourmet cooking and always had a helping hand and shared her salvation with everyone.
She is survived by three nieces, Linda Grant, Lone Grove, Connie Bailey, Edmond, and Kathy Wyatt, Ardmore; two nephews, J.D. Dunn, and Marvin Mashburn, Ardmore; several great-nieces and nephews.
Honorary bearers will be Todd Collett, Greg Grant, Chris Grant, Matt Dunn, Alex Gurrola, Jeff Mashburn, Steve Watts and Jaron Bailey.
