Funeral services for Dave Almon Peebles, 54, Trinity, who died Sunday at Lawrence County Hospital, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Flower Hill Baptist Church, Revs. John Olin Gay and W.W. Coffey officiating, with burial in Clardy Cemetery, Guntharp Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Nora Bell Moore Peebles, Trinity; four sons, Harold Peebles, Decatur; Anthony Peebles, Decatur; Dick Peebles, Gregory Peebles, both of Trinity; two daughters, Mrs. Davied Fagan, Mrs Connie Dutton, both of Trinity; mother, Mrs. Alice Maybell Peebles, Trinity; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Couch, Indianapolis, Ind; Mrs. Nell Chamberlain, Decatur; two brothers, Roy Peebles, Falkville; Ell Peebles, Indianapolis, Ind; and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Peebles was a native of Lawrence County and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was owner of Peebles Walking Horse Stables, and had been a farmer in Morgan and Lawrence Counties for many years.
