Katherine M. Kresin, age 74, of Norborne, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital.
Katherine was born September 16, 1933 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Lawrence and Artie (Young) Clark.
On January 12, 1957 she married Raymond Kresin at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne, Missouri. He survives at the home.
Katherine was a loving wife and mother.
She is also survived by three children, Dr. John (Chris) Kresin and wife Lynda, Stanton, England; Michelle Kresin Sharp and husband Dr. Jeffrey Sharp, Sedalia, Missouri; Michael Kresin and wife Kathy, Omaha, Nebraska; one brother, Evan Clark and wife Marilyn, Pacific, Missouri; two sisters, Barbara Terry and husband Richard, Middleburg, Florida; Ina Rutz and husband John, Kearney, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Her parents, one brother, Jack Clark, and one daughter, Melanie Hails, preceded Katherine in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Norborne, Missouri, with Pastor Kim Scharff officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Norborne, Missouri.
The family suggests contributions in memory of Katherine be made to Autism Action Partnership, 14301 First National Bank Parkway, Suite 115, Omaha NE 68154. Katherine's grandson, David, has autism. They may also be mailed to or left at Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.
