The grave marker inscription:
TU SPOCIWA
JOZEF
DYARZ
PROSI O
ZDROWS MARIA
1864-1951

Translation:
To Rest, Jozef Dysarz, He asks for a prayer - Hail Mary, 1864-1951.

Inscriptions such as Prosi O Zdrowas Maria are common on Polish graves; it is addressed to the living as they walk by the grave. It's as if the buried person is begging you to think of him for a moment and say a prayer on his behalf, because one day you'll be dead and you'll be wishing people would say a prayer for you. (RJY)
