LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Polly Link Hoyle, age 99, of Cardinal Care in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.

Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kathy McAbee officiating. Burial will follow in the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:15 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Polly was born July 12, 1915, in Lincoln County, to the late William Monroe and Zettie Goodson Link. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, George William Hoyle.

She is survived by a son, George “Rick” Hoyle and wife Peggy of Iron Station; a grandson, Jonathan Hoyle and wife Chrystal of Iron Station; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Hoyle and Jonathan-Ballard Hoyle, both of Iron Station; sister-in-law Sally Link of Iron Station; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church, 520 S. Madison Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Catawba Regional Hospice, 7473 Sherrills Ford Road, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673.
