Jerolyn Huffaker Hanson, 50 died Nov 18, 1986 in a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah
after an extended illness.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov 21, at the Tooele 15th LDS Ward. Interment
was in Freedom, WY.
She was born Sept 1, 1936 in Magna, UT to Clair and Orlene Bird Huffaker, married
Bruce Hanson, Oct 30, 1958 in Elko, NV. The marriage was later solemnized in the
Salt Lake Temple.
She was a member of the LDS Church. She had many special talents that she enjoyed
including oil painting, cake decorating and singing. As a member of the Oratorio
Society she performed in the Messiah in Salt Lake City for several years and in 1983
toured Israel to perform in several concerts including the Messiah.
Due to an illness she was unable to perform in physical activities, and dedicated
her time to studies. She will be remembered as a generous and kind friend to all
who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce, sons Mark C and Rick C. of Tooele and David
B. of Logan. Her parents preceded her in death.
