Danny was one of seven children.He enlisted in 1966.
Upon arriving in Vietnam he was assigned to
Foxtrot Company,2nd Battalion,3rd Marine
Regiment,3rd Marine Division.
Danny was wounded during Operation Belt Drive.He was on helicopter,CH-46A,1525 69 AFT on his way to the Tripoli Hospital Ship,when the helicopter had pylon failure causing it to split in half and went down with 5 Marines on board, off shore,about 9 kilometers northeast of Hai Lang.
All bodies were recovered.
Danny was single.
Survived by his parents;four sisters and two
brothers;Larry and Wayne Jr.
