Edna Holst Lietsch died at the Bethesda Care Center, Edgar, last Thursday at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 26 days.

The funeral was Monday at 10 a.m., at the Urbauer-Williams Funeral Home, Edgar. The Rev. Donald Hunzeker was the officiant. Interment was in the Edgar Cemetery.

The daughter of Ernst and Frieda Glawatz Holst, she was born April 2, 1899, on a farm near Sedan, Neb., in Nuckolls County.

As a young girl, she attended Aurora schools near Sedan.

June 8, 1935, she became the wife of Carroll Lietsch. They lived their married life in the Davenport-Edgar area farming. After his death Jan. 11, 1977, she moved into the nursing home and had been a resident of the Bethesda Care Center, Edgar, since that time.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carroll; sister, Florence; and brothers, Hans and Louis.

Survivors include her sister, Emma Holst, Edgar; step daughter, Tresa Voss, Carleton; step-grandchildren, Bill Voss of Davenport, Margaret Lind of Grand Island and Gary Voss of Lincoln; step-great-grandchildren, Jodi Pribyl, Jason Voss, Brent Lind and Shawn Lind, and many other relatives.
