Edward Walter Ivanor, age 86, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 1, 2008, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 22, 1921, he was the son of the late Phillip and Julia Ivanor.

Mr. Ivanor was a retired comptroller for the Estee Bedding Company. He served in the Army Air Corps and was a member of American Legion Post 333. Mr. Ivanor was the owner of the Wild Boar Restaurant at Fairfield Bay and was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at Fairfield Bay.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharlot Ivanor, who passed away in 1993. Mr. Ivanor was also preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Mark Schultz.

He is survived by one son, Edward Iwanowski of Florida; two daughters, Deb Ivanor and Linda Schultz, both of Fairfield Bay; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Ivanor is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with funeral mass beginning at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Fr. Bill Elser. Interment will be held in the Maryhill Cemetery at Niles, Illinois.
