Lena worked for many years as a stenographer at S.T.I. At the age of 50 she left her job to take her Education Degree at the U. of R. She also worked as a nurse for the Red Cross during WWII. Lena's pastimes included baseball, bingo, and knitting various items for her niece's and nephew's children. Daryl has always given his mom all the credit for all of his own good qualities. With Lena's passing, our world will be a little darker, but Heaven will be a lot brighter. Lena will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
Service of Remembrance held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Friday, December 21, 2007.
From obituary published in the Moose Jaw Times-Herald on 12/19/2007 & 12/20/2007.
