CARVALHO, JACINTH “CINTO” SR., 73, of Hawi, Hawaii, died Feb. 24, 1993. He was born in Maliu, Kohala, and was a tractor operator for the former Kohala Sugar Co. and retired from the State of Hawaii at Lapakahi State Park. Survived by wife, Mabel K.; sons, Jacinth Jr. of Kahei, Gordon S. of Papaaloa, Alvin of Hilo, Gary of Union Mill, Larry; daughters, Roberta Bounos of Makapala, Carol May Santiago, Cynthia Carvalho-Gutierrez of Utah, Wanette Ramos;brothers, Manuel, Alfred of Waipahu, Frank of Kahei; sisters, Emily DeLima and Marie Machado, both of Honolulu; 21 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hawi Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or call from 8 to 11 a.m. at the church hall. Burial at Hawi County Cemetery. Casual attire.
