Mary Frances Schomaker (nee Lantry) passed away on Aug. 10, 2008 at the Llanfair Retirement Community in Cincinnati, Ohio where she had resided. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on Jan. 29, 1921.
She was the dearly beloved wife of the late Raymond Richard Schomaker. She leaves her children, John R. Schomaker, Frances M. Herzog, Kathleen M. (Peter Haller) Schomaker, Victoria M. Schomaker, Phyllis M. (Brian Eastman) Schomaker and Christopher R. (Sandra) Schomaker. Her daughter, Mary Theresa Burhns preceded her in death. She also leaves her grandchildren, Lisa (Jeremy) Aumann, Michael Schomaker, Patrick (Sara) Schomaker, Kevin Schomaker, Patricia (Scott) Inscho, James (Andrea) Herzog, Stephen (Carol) Herzog, Claire Kendall, Richard (Amy Matlock) Garth, Madeline Gillotte, Christine Burhns-Stacey, Justin (Gina) Hurhns, Mara McGarrigle, Daniel Schomaker, Kelly Schomaker, Amy Schomaker and Megan Schomaker as well as her great grandchildren, Abby, Luke, Emma, Philip, Todd, Allisyn, Andrew, Allyson, Liam, Elijah and Penelope. She was the dearest friend of Alex Ritter.
Friends called at the St. Bernard Church, Derby Ave. (Winton Place) on Wed. from 5:30 until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 PM. A reception followed the mass at the church. Interment was in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
