DR. THEODORE WINKLER

Dr. Theodore J. Winkler, 84, of Belleville, Ill., died Saturday, May 20, 1989 at St. Paul's Home.

He was a dentist in Belleville for 50 years; a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ; ST. Clair Lodge No. 24 A.F. & A.M.; life member of Belleville Elks Lodge 481; past president and honorary member of Belleville Rotary Club; member of Illinois Dental Society.

Preceding in death were his first wife, Dorothy, nee Eggmann, Winkler; parents, Ferdinand and Margaret, nee Buchert, Winkler, a brother, Wilfred Winkler; two sisters, Dorothy M. Leunig and Cornelia Renner.

Surviving are his second wife, Bernice, nee Buesch, Winkler; a son and daughter-in-law, Theodore Jay (Brenda) Winkler of Aurora, Colo., Margo Winkler Uhrig of Belleville, Ill.; a step-daughter, Barbara Buesch Toumayan of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Minerva Renner and Jeanette Winkler both of Belleville, Mrs. William (Edna Mae) Martz of Upland, Calif.; two grandchildren, Melissa A. and Pamela S. Uhrig; 14 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Belleville with Rev. Roger Horn officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

St. Clair Lodge No. 24 A.F. & A.M. will conduct services at 7 p.m. Monday at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Memorial Hospital or St. Paul's Home.
