LAFAYETTE -- Two young Valparaiso men and a Lafayette resident died in a two-car crash Saturday on Interstate 65 in Clinton County, 12 miles southeast of here.
The Valparaiso victims are Joel R. Keen, 19, of 1703 Vale Park Road, and Thomas L. Strehler, 20, of 1901 Truman St. Also dead is Danny Richardson, 34, of Lafayette.
Services for Strehler will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bartholomew Funeral Home with the Rev. John Dantuma officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is today.
He was born in Valparaiso, July 11, 1958, a son of Heinz and Diana (Butterfield) Strehler, and was employed at Inland Steel.
Survivors include his parents; five brothers, Douglas, Randy, Bob, Kenny and Chuck, all of Valparaiso; and his grandparents, Garnet Butterfield of Valparaiso and Louisa and Adolph Strehler of Sarasota, Fla.
