Richard M. "Dick" Mrozowski Sr., 80, of Aston, died May 8 at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Middletown.
Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Michael G. and Mary Rosypal Mrozowski. He was a previous resident of Chester and Wallingford and lived in Aston for 51 years.
Mr. Mrozowski owned and operated Parkway Market in Wallingford. He was a meat specialist and worked at FMC in Marcus Hook for 12 years in the packing department, and also at Boeing in Ridley as an inventory specialist.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Mrozowski enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed the shore and taking day trips. He was an active member of St. John's on the Hill Senior Citizens.
He was the grandfather of the late Jennifer M. Mrozowski
Survivors: Wife of 55 years, Joan T. Meli Mrozowski sons, Richard M. Mrozowski Jr. of Aston, Michael J. Mrozowski of Upper Chichester daughter, Linda M. Reusch of Aston sisters, Lillian Foremny of Chester, Mary Kedzierski of Wayne, N.J. brother, Edwin Morrow of Ridley Park six grandchildren one great-grandchild.
Mass: Noon today at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Concord Road, Aston.
Visitation: 11 a.m. today at the church.
