Juan, age 22, passed away on a Thursday. He was the son of Bernardo and JoAnn (Dunbrook) Bernal. Juan played hockey with the Madison Patriots when he was younger. He graduated from Madison LaFollette High School in 2005 and he played soccer and had a black belt in karate. Juan loved to travel and was able to visit Europe, Mexico, Venezuela, and was on many other exciting adventures. He was proud of his Mexican heritage. Juan is survived by his son, Kian M. Bernal and Kian's mother, Kaleena Waite; his mother, JoAnn Bernal; his father, Bernardo Bernal; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Janet Dunbrook of Madison; paternal grandmother, Marìa de la Luz Ramos de Bernal; three aunts, Sheryl Miller, Sandra Weger, Guadalupe Bernal; and uncle, Juan Carlos Bernal; and six cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Juan José Bernal.
