Death of Mrs. Katharine Kohner
Mrs. Katherine Kohner, 73, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Andrew Botzet, 406 East Broadway, at 8:30 a.m. today. She had been in failing health the last three years. The former Katharine Lehnertz, Mrs. Kohner was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lehnertz, Rollingstone, where she was born Sept. 15, 1873. She was married to John A. Kohner at Rollingstone June 8, 1894. He died about 12 years ago, three years after the couple moved to Winona. Survivors include six children, Mrs. Wiliam Kanz, Minneapolis; Mrs. Botzet; Mrs. Albert Neumann, Altura; Mrs. William Stanley, Hastings, Neb.; Mrs. Roderick Krenzke, Utica, and Francis Kohner, Minneapolis. Twenty-four grandchildren also survive. A daughter, Mrs. Benjamin (Lucille) Kanz, is dead. Funeral services will be at St. Joseph's church here Saturday and burial will be in the Rollingstone cemetery. Other arrangemnts are being completed. Friends may call at the Botzet home Friday afternoon and evening.
