Death comes to Mrs Margaret Hegwald
Mrs Margaret Hegwald, aged 81, died early Tuesday, March 17, 1953 at her home in Avon township east of Burlington, Kansas. She had been in failing health for some time.
She was born October 6, 1872 at Rosenfelt, Russia and was married to Henry Hegwald [on] 25 December 1890. They came to this country shortly after their marriage . Mr Hegwald preceded her in death (24 February 1934).
She is survived by the following children: Mrs Jake Kniss and Mrs Edwin (Amelia) Meyer and Henry Hegwald of Burlington; Mrs Philip (Elizabeth) Reisbig, Kansas City, Kansas; Mrs J W (Mary) Shrimplin, Westphalia and Jake Hegwald, Rose. Also, Mrs Marjorie (Earl) Breon; Benjamin Hegwald and George Hegwald all of Arlington, Washington; and John Hegwald and Alexander Hegwald of Burlington.
Time of services has not been announced. Services will be held at Foursquare church with burial at Big Creek. W S Mann has charge of arrangements.
