THOS. REIBLY DIES IN IOWA
Thomas Reibly aged 43 yrs. of Gary, a former resident of Valparaiso, died Tuesday night at Des Moines, Iowa according to word received here.
Death followed an appendectomy submitted to several days ago. Mr. Reibly left about two weeks ago for Des Moines to join relatives in a visit there. He was taken ill shortly after his arrival there.
Mr. Reibly was born near Valparaiso, a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Reibly. For the last fifteen years he has been associated with the Grantham Motor Sales in Gary.
Surviving are four brothers, Frank an Charles Reibly of Valparaiso, and Andrew and Edward Reibly of Gary, three sisters Mrs. John Zawauzkl of Valparaiso, Mrs. George Neheing and Mrs. Robert McCall of Gary. His wife preceded him in death 4 years ago.
Memorial arrangements have not been completed.

HOLD MEMORIAL TO T. REIBLY IN GARY TODAY
Memorial services for Thomas E. Reibly, of Gary, formerly of Valparaiso, who died Tuesday night in Des Moines, IA, following an appendectomy a week ago, were held in the Williams & Burns chapel in Gary this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in Hobart cemetery.
Mr. Reibly, who was forty-eight years old, was born and reared in Valparaiso, and went to Gary in 1920, following world war service with the A.E.F. in France and later with the American Army of Occupation in Germany.
He became associated with the Grantham Auto corporation, and was sales manager at the time of his death.
His wife, Alfreda Carlson, died several years ago. He resided with his mother-in-law, Mrs. Ida C. Carlson, in Gary. He had gone to Des Moines to return with Mrs. Carlson and her daughter, Miss Mabel Carlson, to Gary from a visit when he became ill.
Surviving are four brothers, Frank and Charles of Valparaiso, Andrew and Edward of Gary, and four sisters, Mrs. George Nehring, Mrs. Robert McCall and Mrs. William Barneko of Gary and Mrs. John Zawadzki of Valparaiso.
