Monticello,--Died--Sept 14--Mrs. W.C. Messner died Saturday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. M. M. Herschberger after a lingering illness of a year. Mrs. Messners home is in Potomac but she has been ill here at her mothers home for a year.
Gertrude B. Hershberger was born near Deland, July 20, 1873. She was married on Oct. 5, 1896 to W. C. Messner of Potomac. She is survived by her husband and two sons,Curtis, aged fourteen and Everett Mark, aged seven. She leaves her mother, two brothers, W.E. Hershberger of Iowa and Ernest H.of S. Dakota, one sister Mayme Hershberger of this city.
The funeral services will be held at the family residence Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 oclock, rev. H. J. Hostetler, pastor of the christian church, will conduct the service.
