Frank S. Ciesla Sr., 76, of 165 W. Fifth St. died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse. Mr. Ciesla was a life resident of the Oswego-Fulton area. He retired in 1978 from Armstrong Cork. His wife, Jennie, died in 1990. Mr. Ciesla was a communicant of the Holy Family Church and the Fulton Polish Home. An Army Veteran of World War II, Mr. Ciesla received the Purple Heart and was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Surviving are a son, Frank Jr. of Fulton; three brothers, Stanley, Walter and Joe, all of Oswego; four sisters, Sadie Ciesla and Josephine Cusyck, both of Oswego, Helen Ciesla of Rochester and Clara Tracy of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.
