Ruth I. Kohli, 91, died at 6 a.m. Oct. 27, 2011, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.
She was born Feb. 18, 1920, in Hardin County to Wilber and Ethel Kimble Elwood, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 18, 1939, she married Ellsworth P. Kohli, who died Aug. 15, 1999.
Mrs. Kohli was a homemaker. She had been a member of Lima Memorial Health System Auxiliary and various community clubs.
Survivors include two sons, Ellsworth Kohli Jr., of Bluffton, and Ronald Kohli, of Arizona; two daughters, Lena (Ivan) Verhoff, of Columbus Grove, and Linda (Craig) Rone, of Lima; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Rodabaugh, of Bluffton; and a brother, Jim (Doris) Elwood, of Dola.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, four brothers and a sister.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Lima Baptist Temple. The Rev. Gary Hohman will officiate.
