MRS. ELIZA CHURCH

Mrs. Eliza Church of Cogar, Okla. mother of Engineer R. .F. Church, Osawatomie, passed away at the home of her son, R.F. Church, Thursday, August 15th, at 10 O'clock a.m. She died from injuries received in a car accident the previous evening. The accident occurred when a tire blew out, Over-
turning the car. Mrs. Church was injured internally and several bones were broken.
The body was taken to Oklahoma for burial beside her husband who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Church was born in Cincinnati, Ohio July 9, 1850 and departed this life August 15, 1935, being 85 years, 1 months and 6 days old.
Mrs. Church came to Kansas by ox team in the pioneer day. She was untied in marriage to Reuban F. Church in 1869. To this union ten children were born, all of whom survive.
Mrs. Church was baptized in the Christian Church in Osawatomie many years ago. She lived a true Christian life and was a faithful and diligent worker throughout he life. She was loved by all who knew her.
Left to mourn her passing are her ten children: R.F. Church of Osawatomie, G.F. Church of Moore, Okla., Fred, Ed and Will Church of Cogar, Okla., Dave Church of Alta Vista, Kansas, Cora Whitmore of Detroit Mich., Maud Weisman of Ogden, Kansas, Jennie and Elsie Glissner of Dwight, Kansas one sister, Cora Patterson of Junction City; two brothers, A.L. and W.W. Shane of Junction City; 48 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren and a host of friends.
