Nelda C. Jonas passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2005 at the age of 97. She was born on July 22, 1908 in Bergheim, TX to Ed and Frida Rust. Nelda enjoyed bowling and bingo and helping out at Arlene's restaurant in her pastime, and she loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Nelda is preceded in death by her husband; Marvin Jonas, daughter-in-law; Viola Jonas and her siblings; Louis Rust, Wanda Elbel, and Alice Uhlig.
She is survived by her children; David L. Jonas of Spring Branch, TX., Arlene Uecker and her husband Jr. of Spring Branch, TX., Donald B. Jonas and his wife Ethel of New Braunfels, TX., Carol M. Abbott and her husband Jerry of Bulverde, TX. Grandchildren; Charlotte, Roxane, Cheryl, Karin, Dwayne, Donna, Denise, Danette, Christina, and Rachel. Nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
