Entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 8, 2002, Donald Rhett Fender, widow of Jeanette Faircloth Donaldson Fender.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Sunday afternoon, February 10, 2002 at Two o'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Saturday evening from Six until Eight o'clock.

Mr. Fender was born in Walterboro, SC, the son of Rhett Fender and Mazie Strickland Connor.

He was a retired automobile painter.

He was a veteran of the US Army serving with the 101st Airborne Division.

Surviving are one daughter, Donna F. Nash of Charleston, SC, one son, Michael R. Fender of Summerville, SC, three step-daughters, Ellen Wagner of Charleston, SC, Linda Cooper of Charleston, SC, and Sandy Mearkle of Jacksonville, Fl, one step-son, Ronnie Donaldson of James Island, SC, step-father, Cyril C. Connor of Charleston, SC, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
