Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma, with Pastor Fred Hertwig officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.
Born April 19, 1919, in Alma, she was the daughter of the late Emil Roehrs and Hulda Rist Roehrs. She had lived in Malta Bend and Mount Leonard and then returned to Alma, where she was a 1937 graduate of Alma High School. Prior to her marriage, she worked in the canning factory and telephone office at Alma. On Oct. 20, 1940, she married Herman Dieckhoff, who preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1991. She was a homemaker and farm wife and later worked at P.N. Hirsch in Higginsville and then Concordia Lumber Company. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Guild and the Sunshine Club.
Survivors include four sons, Darrell Dieckhoff of Alma, Don Dieckhoff of Flippin, Ark., Dale Dieckhoff of Concordia and Dennis Dieckhoff of Waverly; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dr. Marvin Roehrs; and one sister, Dorothy Dierking.
