Funeral Services To Be Held Friday Morning
Frank Weiskus Died Tuesday At The Spencer Hospital; Has Resided Near Milford Since 1913.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at St. Joseph's church for Frank John Weiskus, who died Tuesday, Nov. 29, at a Spencer hospital, following a major operation.
Mr. Weiskus became ill last Friday and went to the hospital Monday, and the operation was performed that afternoon.
He was born November 10, 1871, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Weiskus, at New Vienna, Iowa, and lived there until he was 25 years old, then went to Carroll county. He was married to Johanna Kathman on April 21, 1896, at Templeton, Iowa. They were the parents of 13 children, three of whom died in infancy.
Sorrowing are his wife, six sons, Frank and John of Petersburg, Minn., Henry of Alpha, Minn., Bernard of Milford, and Fred and Leo at home; four daughters (Ann) Mrs. John Maras of Windom, Minn., (Clara) Mrs. Lawrence Sandstrom of Alpha, Minn., (Lorene) Mrs. Alfred Wedeking of Milford and Bernice, at home, and 13 grandchildren.
The family moved to Dickinson county in 1913 and have lived near Milford since that time.
The Rev. O. A. Dentlinger will conduct the services. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
