Died 8:30 a.m. Friday, July 16, 1993, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 80, a native of Independence and a resident of Walker. He was retired from Livingston Parish Police Jury. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. until religious services in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Lewis Morris. Burial in Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery, Walker. Survived by wife, Frances Minton Morgan, Walker; four daughters, Isabel Felder and Freda Guidry, both of Walker, Aline Hood , Denham Springs, and Joy Mullins, Bayou Pigeon; three sons, Dick and Billy Morgan, both of Walker, and Lloyd Morgan, Denham Springs; two sisters, Ola Scott, Baton Rouge, and Myrtle Giluso, Hammond; two brothers, Harold Morgan, Baton Rouge, and Leroy Morgan, Walker; 23 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents. Pallbearers will be grandsons. He was a member of Friendship Methodist Church.
