Tia d.d. Rabe, age 32, Sheboygan died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, October 15, 2008 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Tia was born July 17, 1976 in Sheboygan to Leonard Rowden and Bonnie Rabe. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School after which she attended the New Beginnings Day Program and TLC Day Services.
Tia enjoyed listening to music, walking the neighbors dogs, helping to deliver papers, and taking car rides to shop. She especially loved her times being pampered at the spa.
Tia is survived by her mother, Bonnie Rabe of New Holstein; her father, Leonard Rowden of Sheboygan; maternal grandmother, Rosaline Rabe of New Holstein; three sisters, Amber (Tomasz) Podhorodenska, Laura Bialek both of Sheboygan, and Emily DenDekker of New Holstein; three brothers, Anthony Rowden of Moore Haven, FL, Christopher Waggoner of Kenosha, and Louis (Darla) Rowden of Sheboygan; two nieces, Alysa Rowden of Sheboygan and Haylee DenDekker of New Holstein; one nephew, Jeremy Conyers of Florida; aunts and uncles, Cheryl (Alan) Sawitski of Oshkosh, Wayne Rabe of Florida, Lynn Rabe, George (Linda) Rabe, Jane (Gary) Kienbaum, Kathy Dill all of New Holstein, Judy (David) Strutz of Green Lake, Diane (Bob) Jacques, Scott (Liz) Rabe both of Kiel; Huey Wilson of Compton, CA, Michael Miles and Luther Wilson both of Chidester, AR, Joyce (Clarence) Reynolds of Camden, AR, Cora (Rev. Willie) Whitfield of Baton Rouge, LA, and Erma Jean Rumley of Milwaukee; and many, many cousins and close family friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Lee Bertha Williams, her maternal grandfather, George Rabe, her brother, Patrick Rowden, and her niece, Alexandria Rabe.
Memorial services will be held at 5:30 Monday, October 20, 2008 at Ballhorn Chapels. Rev. James H. Hollister, Senior Minister of First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Chapels from 3:30 until the time of service.
