Mrs. Havrilla was born Jan. 16, 1917, in Old Economy, Beaver County, to Michael and Mary Zell Dengel.
She was employed formerly by Mercer County Multi-Service Center, Farrell. Mrs. Havrilla previously worked in the elementary school cafeteria of West Middlesex Area School District.
In her early years, she did private catering and also worked in numerous restaurants in the Shenango Valley.
The member of Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon, served as past president of Slovak Home Auxiliary, Farrell.
Mrs. Havrilla was a 50-year member of the Rush Card Club, which played in different locations throughout the area.
Her husband, Carl J. Havrilla, whom she married Dec. 14, 1934, died Feb. 2, 1968.
Surviving are: two sons, Carl R., Sharon; and Thomas R., Sewickley, Pa.; a sister, Agnes Sauer, Sharon; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Katherine Chiodo, Rose Mueller and Marie Moder; and a brother, Michael A. Dengel.
