Elinor E. Kern, 72, of 31 Greble Road, Jonestown, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, in the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of James W. Kern with whom she celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in January. Born July 17, 1925, in Lickdale, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Jane Kreiser Elliott. She was a member of the Jonestown United Methodist Church and retired from Reese's where she was employed as a production worker. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Brian D., husband of Renee, Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Lori J., wife of Tim Huber, Jonestown; a brother, Paul Elliott, Lebanon; and six grandchildren.
