Dennis E. Vetter, 47 years old of Woodburn, Indiana, passed away at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2008 in the Parkview Memorial Hospital located in Fort Wayne, Indiana following a brief battle with cancer.
Dennis was born on Monday, February 8, 1960 in Decatur, Indiana the son of Eugene Vetter and Marilyn (Robinson) Vetter. He married Lydia C. Tussing on June 26, 1982 in the Zion Lutheran Church located in Decatur, Indiana.
Dennis was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Woodburn, Indiana.
He was employed as a small engine mechanic at Taylor Rental in New Haven, Indiana for the past seven years.
Dennis was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a skilled mechanic. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and IU basketball; but his greatest joy was spending time with his five children.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008 in the Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn with the Rev. Timothy Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery, in Monroeville, Indiana.
Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Preferred memorials are to the children's education fund.
