Walter H. Buck, 72; Managed Store Chain

The funeral for Walter H. Buck, 72, of O'Fallon will be at 10:30 a.m.Wednesday at the Baue-Davis Funeral Home, 311 Wood St., O'Fallon, with burial in the Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery in O'Fallon.

Mr. Buck, 72, died of an apparent heart attack Sunday at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.

He was retired and had been a manager of a chain of convenience stores in St. Louis and St. Charles Counties. He was a past Vice President of the St. Charles County American Association of Retired Persons.

Surviving are his wife, Genevieve Buck of O'Fallon; one son, Walter H. Buck III of St. Peters; two daughters, Barbara Knoop of Buffalo, N.Y., and Patricia Cordova of O'Fallon; one sister, Virginia Tusen of Boston, seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
