Mrs. Eva Elizabeth Gies, 92, Brighton, died Monday, Dec 25 in Bethesda Care Center Brighton. She was born Oct 12, 1896 to Henry and mary Katherine Frank at Denhof, Russia. On Feb 14, 1910, she was married to Christian Gies at Loveland. He died Feb 25. 1956. She came to Loveland in 1906 from Russia and lived there until 1972 when she moved to the Denver area. She was a member of the valley Lutheran Chruch at Thornton and a former member of the Zion American Church at Loveland.
