Funeral services for William J. Weinbender of Ovid were held at St. Anthony's Parish at Julesburg, Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Weinbender was the father of Mrs. Don (Linda) Koester of Greeley, and was well known here.

Weinbender was a native Coloradan, born and reared at Ovid, where he was employed by Great Western Sugar Co. until failing health forced his retirement in August of this year.

Surviving, in addition to his daughter here, are his wife, Mrs. Rose G. Weinbender; and another daughter, Mrs. Arford (Rozella) Dillehay of Ovid; and two sons, Ronald M. Weinbender of Omaha, Neb., and Duane Weinbender, a student at the University of Northern Colorado.

Also surviving are two brothers and a sister, including M. F. Weinbender of Greeley; four grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
