Helen Falzone SOUTH NATICK Helen (Elena Rando) Falzone of South Natick, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 89. Born Dec. 19, 1918, in Filicudi, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rosa (Defina) Rando. Mrs. Falzone immigrated to the United States as a young woman and resided in Waltham for most of her life until moving to Natick 10 years ago. Mrs. Falzone was devoted to her family as a homemaker throughout her life, caring for her five children, and especially loved her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Falzone. Helen is survived by her loving children, Russell Falzone of Texas, Rose LeClair of New Hampshire, Mary Turmel of Attleboro, Pasquale Falzone of Ashland, and Antoinette Falzone of Natick; her brother, Leonardo Rando of Australia; her cherished grandchildren, Russell, Robert, Jeremy, Ariel, Helen, Michael and Julie; and her longtime friend, Stephanie Stratmann. In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service in celebration of Helen's life was held at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum in Waltham. The Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, Waltham, assisted the Falzone family with the arrangements.
