Henry Uhrich

Henry H. Uhrich, 93, Loveland, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Loveland Good Samaritan Retirement Village.

He was born May 26, 1889, to Henry and Mary Katherine (Sitzman) Uhrich at Frank, Saratov, Volga, Russia.

On Aug. 17, 1925, he married Katherine Zeiler at Loveland.

Uhrich came to the United States with his parents in 1891, settling at McCook, Neb. They moved to Loveland in 1901, where he attended school. He was a farmer and cattle feeder, retiring in 1965. He had lived on the family homestead since 1917.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Loveland, Loveland Elks BPOE 1051, and had served on the Kelim School Board and on the Farmers Irrigation Ditch Co.

Survivors are his wife, Katherine of Loveland; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Barbara) Calkins of Golden; four sisters, Mrs. Harry (Leah) Stroh, Mary Uhrich, Katherina Uhrich, and Mrs. Walter (Esther) Hadley, all of Loveland; a brother, J.C. of Loveland, and a granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, 533 Grant Ave., Loveland, with the Rev. Robert Link officiating. Interment will be in the Loveland Burial Park.

Contributions may be made in the name of Henry Uhrich to the charity of your choice in care of the Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Ave., Loveland, which is in charge of arrangements.
