Glaze T. Smith, 70, who had been working as a farm laborer in the Benge area for about a month, died of a heart attack Saturday 14 miles southeast of Benge.
His body was sent to Prineville, Ore., where his funeral was to have been held yesterday.
He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith on Jan. 8, 1891, in Oregon. Most of his life was spent in the Prineville area.
He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include his wife, Della, at the home; four daughters, Mrs. Esther Laun of Pueblo, Colo., Mrs. Marilyn Feebeck of Leadville, Colo., Mrs. Norman Tucker of Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Crystol Cayton of Prineville; and a son, Leslie, of Bishop, Calif.
