HELEN MEYER March 5, 1936 ~ January 2, 2005 Born as Helen Hucom, entered into her peaceful rest on January 2, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Earl Meyer; daughters, Crystal Olivarez, Claudia Falkner-Rose and Cathleen Suan; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Rivada, Crispin Hucom, Roy (Sonny) Rivada and Daniel Rivada. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Natalie L. (Natie) Suan, Gary K. Suan and Caleb Olivarez. She will join, in the hereafter, with siblings, Juanita (Neet) Bolima, Hank Aguel, Mary Estigoy-Suan, George and Albert Hucom, Johnny Rivada, Henry and the father of her children and good friend, Claudio Suan. She also has many other devoted friends and family who were honored to know her. Other family names include Wallace, Bolima, Magsanay and Estigoy. Helen's journies stared in San Juan Bautista, CA where she soon made her way to Fremont, CA. She enjoyed raising her three children and taking them on trips. Later Helen and husband, Earl enjoyed the same with their grandchildren, Natie and Gary. She was a registered member of the Tlingit and Haida tribe. Helen was proud of her Filipino and Tlingit decent. Her totem moiety is Eagle and she belonged to the Wosskitaan clan (Shark clan). Helen will join her father, Crispin Hucom Sr. and brothers, George and Albert when she is laid to rest. Services will be announced at a later time to family and friends.
