LOSEKE - Funeral services for 88-year-old Mrs. Minna A. Loseke, of 1472 32nd Avenue, who died Saturday morning at Behlen Memorial Hospital, were today with a 1:15 p.m. prayer service at Gass-Haney Chapel and a 2 p.m. service at Christ Lutheran Church. The Rev. Martin Bornemann officiated and burial was in Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
Mrs. Loseke was born July 31, 1886, in Platte County, daughter of Henry and Marie (Klosterman) Hespe. She married Herman Loseke at Christ Lutheran Church Oct. 13, 1911.
They farmed in the Columbus area until 1946 when they moved into town. Mrs. Loseke was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Leigh, and later was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Alice and one grandson, Jerome. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, William and Henry, and two sisters, Lena Schutte and Alma Hollman. per DON
