KISSNER--Leona (nee Stahn) passed away peacefully at Pioneer Village Nursing Home, on Sunday June 24, 2001. Born May 12, 1905, Lewisville, Minnesota and immigrated to Saskatchewan in 1908. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur in 1982, parents, Herman and Julia Stahn, brothers, Charles, Alfred and Clements, two sisters, Agnes Freestone and Florence Rasmussen. Leona is survived by one son, Allan and his wife Alma, two grandchildren, Karen and Lynn Kissner, four great grandchildren, Matthew, Krystal, Amy and Victoria, all of Regina, as well as her sister, Edna Oliver of Victoria, B.C., two sisters-in-law, Vicky Stahn of Assiniboia and Andrea Kissner of Moose Jaw and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by her dear friend, Joy McMillan, who has been so supportive. The family also express special thanks to the 2 West Staff of Pioneer Village for their excellent care, kindness and support.
